Join The Web3 Social Hackathon to learn about leading Web3 technologies & win bounties by creating innovative projects that connects people.
You have different challenges with endless possibilities. You can for example build social features for real humans like a voting system, a Twitter platform without bots, a community forum accessible by reputation. You can also explore new possibilities for the creator economy with video streaming, membership access. You’ll find full details of all nine challenges and their bounties below.

Here are the challenges / bounties of the hackathon. Participants can submit each project for a maximum of three bounties.

Hackathon process
Here is our recommended process for teams to participate in the Hackathon:
- Register for the hackathon and/or find your team members via this form (registration still open).
- Introduce your project and team in the Orbis Discord.
- Submissions must be made using this link before December 31st & fully completed with all informations below:
- 1. Project name & short pitch
- 2. Team member list (or your name if you are building solo)
- 3. Project story & the bounties you are applying for
- 4. Link to Github repository & demo link (working prototype)
- 5. Link to video demo
- On January 2nd, we will announce when the jury will take place as well as the reward dates
Judging criteria
- Implementation: How well does it make use of Orbis SDK & partners' protocols?
- Design: Quality of the user experience
- Idea: Is the idea original, creative and unique?
- Impact: How big of an impact could the project have?
- Completeness: Is the project in a concept state or ready to scale
Rules
- Maximum 3 bounties selected per project
- The project must be open-source with a working prototype submitted
- No limit for the number of team members
- You can submit multiple projects
